Albion Women stormed into the second round of the National League Plate with a 6-1 victory over Burton Albion Ladies.
Jade Arber scored a fantastic five and debutant Millie Rogers netted from range in a game which Louis Sowe’s side dominated at Walsall Wood.
Looking to defend the trophy after last season’s triumph, Albion defeated Lincoln City in the previous round and wasted no time in carrying on where they left off on Sunday.
Arber scored a remarkable 10-minute hat-trick to fire the Baggies 3-0 in front in the first half, finding the back of the net just before the half-hour mark and then twice not long after.
The Baggies forward netted Albion's fourth 60 seconds before the interval as the home side went into the break 4-0 up.
The visitors found a goal back on the hour mark, before Arber once again was on target to make it five.
Sowe’s team wrapped up the victory when Rogers fired home from 25 yards out on her debut, stepping up from the Development team comprehensively.
The win means Albion are in the hat for the second round, as they look to retain the National League Plate.
The Baggies next face a trip to Fylde in the league on Sunday, November 3 (ko 2pm).
