Albion’s youngsters were beaten 4-2 by Wolves in an U18 Premier League derby clash at the Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground on Saturday.
The Baggies went ahead inside 12 minutes through Finley Thorndike and held on to their lead until half-time.
Theo Corbeanu netted the home side’s equaliser on the hour mark but Albion struck again with 17 minutes to go thanks to Alex Gilbert.
Wolves fought back, though, as Corbeanu secured his brace from the penalty spot before late goals by Jack Hodnett and Conor Carty earned them the Black Country bragging rights.
