Albion goalscorer Callum Robinson described Saturday’s 3-0 win at Bristol City as a "massive" result and has urged his teammates to keep up their recent run of impressive form.
The forward scored the opening goal at Ashton Gate, his second strike since joining in January, before Hal Robson Kanu’s double sealed a commanding victory for Slaven Bilić's men in the West Country.
The Baggies are now five games unbeaten in the Sky Bet Championship, and Robinson believes they need to continue in the same manner as they approach the final stages of the season.
“It’s a big result for us and it’s massive that we push on now,” said Callum.
“I would have liked my shot to have gone in first time but I didn’t know after that. It’s come off my face and it’s helped us - a goal is a goal.
“These wins are the foundations but hopefully now we can keep getting results and try and get the promotion that everyone wants.
“The teams around us dropped points too which makes it an even bigger win.
“There’s a lot of talent in the team and Matheus (Pereira), Filip (Krovinović), we’re all linking up really well together and we’ve got a lot of hard working players, but Jake Livermore… what a performance, what a captain.
“What he shows is passion from the get-go and we started slow, but he was at it pressing and winning the ball back high up the pitch which set the tone for the game.
“There’s so much experience in the team; lads who’ve been there, played at the highest level and I think that’s why we’re pushing on up the league because we’ve got that nouse.”
