Albion have completed the deadline-day signing of Lee Peltier on a short-term contract until the end of the season.
The 33-year-old utility defender arrived from Cardiff City on a free transfer in the final hours of transfer deadline day.
Lee will bolster Slaven Bilić’s defensive numbers with his capability to play across all positions in the back-line.
Sporting and Technical Director Luke Dowling said: “Lee will provide tough, proven experience and ‘know-how’ for us across a variety of roles in defence.
“He was a key figure in Neil Warnock’s team and knows what it takes to get promoted from this division.
“We felt we needed some cover and once we knew Lee would be available it made good sense to bring him in.”
Lee has made more than 150 appearances for Cardiff since 2015, including 20 in their Premier League campaign last season and 30 in their promotion-winning Championship campaign.
