Albion have completed the signing of Poland international Kamil Grosicki from Hull City for an undisclosed fee.
The experienced winger, who has seven goals and five assists already this season, arrives at The Hawthorns hot on the heels of fellow attacker Callum Robinson to give Head Coach Slaven Bilic further options in forward areas.
Grosicki has earned 73 caps for his nation and is the most productive Sky Bet Championship midfielder since the beginning of 2019 - with 14 goals and 13 assists to his name in the last 12 months.
The 31-year-old has penned an 18-month contract at The Hawthorns and is eligible to play in Saturday's home game against Luton Town.
With Robinson arriving from Bramall Lane on loan until the end of the season, Sporting and Technical Director Luke Dowling welcomed both additions.
“We tried hard to get Callum in the summer but he understandably didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to play in the Premier League,” said Luke.
“As soon as the opportunity to take him in this window cropped up, it was something that we wanted to do straightaway.
“So did 90 per cent of the other Championship clubs but I think Callum’s awareness of our interest in the summer was a big factor in our favour.
“He can play wide as we saw in his Preston role but also centrally, as has proved the case at Sheffield United.
“Kamil is one of the most consistent players I have seen. He’s always a seven out of 10 guy who will give you a nine as well. He’s exactly the type of player we want to be adding at this stage and as soon as he heard of our interest, there was nowhere else he wanted to come.
“He’s got great experience and is still an important member of his national squad with the Euros ahead in the summer.”
