The NCS summer programme is just around the corner, but it’s not too late to book on for two weeks of fun during the summer holidays.
Owing to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s programme has been scaled back to two, two-week programmes during August.
Wave 1 will take place from Monday, August 3 to Friday, August 14 and wave 2 will take place from Monday, August 17 August to Friday, August 28.
During each wave we will be taking 13 young people onto the programme to complete a social action project of their choosing and take part in valuable volunteering in the community.
The cost of the programme is completely free and will allow young people to get active and help in their local community, gain a variety of social skills and boost their employability prospects.
Everyone that takes part on the programme will also receive a free NCS t-shirt.
Please note that all activities undertaken in the programme will adhere to Covid-19 guidelines and safety precautions including social distancing, with PPE and hand sanitiser provided for all participants.
