The FA have made the following statement regarding the 2019/20 Women’s football season.
Alongside the Women’s Football Conference, a decision has been made by the Women’s Football Board that for Tier 3 and below of the Women’s Pyramid of Football the 2019-20 season will end with immediate effect.
The 2019-20 season will also be declared null and void, and there will be no promotion or relegation of clubs, this includes league and league cup competitions.
This decision has been made with the intention to remove any uncertainty over the outcome of the current season, and to provide a conclusion to the season which provides the fairest outcome for all clubs.
The decisions reached by the Women’s Football Conference has been approved by the Women’s Football Board.
