Four of Albion's young hopefuls represented their countries over the March international break.

Fresh from penning professional terms with the Baggies in February, Dauda Iddrisa was once again in the thick of things for Italy U17s in their Euro qualifiers.

The versatile midfielder featured in all three fixtures, completing 90 minutes in the 1-0 win over Slovakia, the opening 45 of the 2-1 success against Ukraine and then the final 16 of the 2-1 victory over Croatia.

The trio of triumphs means Italy and Iddrisa have now qualified for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship final tournament in Albania in the summer.

Elsewhere, young professionals Alex Williams and goalkeeper Ronnie Hollingshead (currently on loan at non-league Alvechurch) were with Wales U21s for their two friendlies against Andorra and Sweden in Spain.

Both played 45 minutes in the opener against Andorra - a fixture Wales won 1-0. Defender Williams completed the first period, with stopper Hollingshead coming on at the start of the second period.

Williams went on to play the whole of the 1-1 draw with Sweden, while his Baggies team-mate remained on the bench.

Finally, Rhys Morrish, who played an important role in helping Leigh Downing's 18s get to the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup this term, was once again called up to the Dragons' U18 team.

The central defender played the entirety of friendlies against Denmark (lost 4-2) and Poland (won 1-0).
