Albion head down to AFC Bournemouth for an Emirates FA Cup third-round tie on Saturday afternoon (ko 3pm).
The meeting will be just the second between the two clubs in the tournament, with the Cherries claiming a 1-0 triumph in the only other FA Cup encounter back in 1999.
The hosts were 1-0 winners in their most recent Premier League match too, defeating Everton at the Vitality Stadium courtesy of David Brooks' effort 13 minutes from the end.
Five-time winners West Bromwich Albion haven't lifted the trophy since 1968 and will be hopeful of a decent run in the competition.
The Baggies, who drew 1-1 at Swansea City in the Sky Bet Championship last weekend, have their sights set on defeating the side which sit seventh in the top flight.
The last time the clubs met was back in April 2022 in the second tier, when goals from Alex Mowatt and Andy Carroll secured a 2-0 victory for Albion at The Hawthorns.

The hosts
AFC Bournemouth are enjoying a terrific season in the Premier League and are just three points off the top four.
The Cherries, now into their third straight season in the top flight following their promotion from the Sky Bet Championship as runners-up in 2021/22, have collected 33 from the 20 league matches they've played so far.
Saturday's hosts earned a 1-0 victory at home to Everton last weekend, a result which extended their unbeaten run to eight games (W5, D3).
At the Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth have won five, drawn three and lost just two of their ten Premier League fixtures there. They've beaten the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur in front of their own supporters in 2024/25, shipping just seven goals.
Andoni Iraola is the man in charge. The 42-year-old Spaniard was appointed in June 2023 having also managed AEK Larnaca, Mirandés and Rayo Vallecano.
A right-back in his playing days, Bournemouth's boss won seven caps for Spain between 2008 and 2011 - an era where La Roja won UEFA Euro 2008 and the FIFA World Cup in 2010. Iraola represented Athletic Bilbao more than 400 times as a player before ending his time on the pitch in the States at New York City FC in 2016.
He has a record of 26 wins, 15 draws and 24 defeats as the Cherries' manager.
The furthest Albion's opponents have ever gone in the Emirates FA Cup in the last eight in both 2020/21 and 1956/57. They'll see this season as a great opportunity to challenge for a spot in Europe and to advance into the latter stages of England's top cup competition.
The stats
Albion are five-time winners of the world's most famous club cup competition, but haven't lifted the trophy since 1968. AFC Bournemouth have never won the FA Cup. The furthest Saturday's hosts have ever got in the tournament is the last eight in both 2020/21 and 1956/57.
The two teams have only ever met once before in the Emirates FA Cup. The Cherries claimed a 1-0 home triumph in a third-round tie in January 1999.
The Cherries are currently on an eight-match unbeaten run (W5, D3). The last time they went nine unbeaten was between April and August 2022 (nine matches).
Albion's last victory over Premier League opposition in the Emirates FA Cup was back in January 2020 when they defeated West Ham United 1-0 in London. Conor Townsend scored the only goal of the game.
Albion man Karlan Grant has been involved in four goals in his last five starts in the FA Cup, recording two goals and two assists.
