Albion Women capped off a great week by making it back-to-back wins with a 1-2 victory at AFC Fylde on Sunday afternoon.
It wasn’t an ideal start for the Baggies, who came into the clash following a victory against Loughborough Lightning three days earlier. They fell behind inside the opening four minutes via Faye McCoy’s header.
But Jenny Sugarman's team put a tricky opening period behind them to level things up midway through the first half – Lizzie Bennett-Steele the one to find an equaliser.
The score is level at Kellamergh Park.

The contest was level going into the break, and neither side could find that all-important third goal for large parts of the second period despite chances at both ends.
Just a few minutes from time, though, Albion did manage to find the winner, substitute Abi Loydon coming on and getting the goal - her first in senior football - to earn the Baggies three points.
"Back-to-back away wins this week has provided us with the platform to finish the season on a high," said Head Coach Sugarman.
"Playing catch-up on league games for the last three months left the group under pressure just above the relegation zone. Six matches in 21 days with a number of injuries - especially in defence - has been challenging, so we are delighted with the three away wins in Stoke, Loughborough and Fylde.
"What has been especially pleasing is the quality of the chances that we created in those games. Now we need to work on being a little more composed in front of goal."
