Semi Ajayi completed 90 international minutes for the second time this week on Thursday night.
The Albion defender played the whole game for Nigeria as they were edged out 1-0 by Ecuador in New Jersey.
The South Americans, who will compete at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar in the winter, scored the game’s only goal in the third minute through Villarreal defender Pervis Estupinan.
Thursday’s friendly was the second fixture Ajayi and Nigeria have participated in over in the United States, with the Super Eagles narrowly beaten 2-1 by Mexico on Saturday night in Texas.
Semi and his nation will now head home to Africa for two AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Mauritius.
