Albion’s four-month unbeaten home run came to an end when they were defeated 2-0 by Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday evening.
A second-half Makhtar Gueye brace earned the visitors all three Sky Bet Championship points at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies - who had two goals ruled out - have a chance to bounce back this Saturday when they head to Millwall.

Tony Mowbray made three alterations as Mason Holgate, Tom Fellows and Mikey Johnston replaced Kyle Bartley (suspended), Karlan Grant (ill) and Grady Diangana (bench).
But, following Saturday's drama, it was a quiet first half without too many chances. Blackburn arguably created the better openings - John Buckley and Callum Brittain firing off-target and Tyrhys Dolan forcing Joe Wildsmith into a save.
Defender Torbjorn Heggem went closest for the hosts, towering above Rovers’ defence only to head the ball against the post.

It was a much more action-packed contest after the break, though unfortunately not in Albion’s favour.
Gueye’s acrobatic effort gave Blackburn a 47th minute lead - and the striker then doubled that advantage around the hour mark, converting a lethal Rovers counter attack.
The Baggies did net twice in-between those goals via Adam Armstrong and substitute Will Lankshear, however they were both disallowed for a foul and offside respectively.
Mowbray introduced a number of forwards as his side attempted another late response - however it wasn’t to be in B71 and Blackburn took the spoils.
