Albion bravely survived 45 minutes with 10-men to secure an outstanding 1-0 win over QPR on Saturday afternoon.
Adam Armstrong’s penalty had given the hosts the lead, before Darnell Furlong was shown a red card in first-half stoppage time.
But Tony Mowbray’s team fought through the whole second period despite being a player down, excellently earning a clean sheet and three massive Sky Bet Championship points.
Next, the sixth-placed Baggies head to Burnley in another league fixture this Tuesday.

The boss made just the one alteration to his starting XI - switching out John Swift for winger Tom Fellows.
It was Fellows who set up Albion’s first chance, a marauding run breaking through the Rangers midfield and handing Mikey Johnston an opportunity, which he fired over.
QPR threatened a few times via Kenneth Paal, who saw a free-kick well blocked by Isaac Price, and Jimmy Dunne, as the defender smashed one into the side-netting.
However, the Baggies scored the game’s opening goal on 40 minutes after Jayson Molumby earned them their first penalty this season. Armstrong grabbed the ball and made no mistake, confidently converting past Paul Nardi.

Albion would begin the second-half without Furlong, though, following his red card for an off-the-ball incident involving Koki Saito.
Saito should have then levelled within minutes of the match restarting, nodding wide at close-range when it looked easier to net.
From then on in, the Baggies defended resolutely. Ronnie Edwards struck wide from distance in a rare attempt, while the impressive Joe Wildsmith held a late Saito shot.
And a fantastic, loud Hawthorns roared their side to victory despite a lengthy added time and some nervy final moments.
