Albion returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Watford at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.
Goals either side of half-time by Karlan Grant and Mikey Johnston earned the Baggies three important Sky Bet Championship points, despite Moussa Sissoko’s consolation.
Next, they face an Easter double-header against Coventry (away) and Derby (home).

The boss made three changes under the Black Country spring sunshine - bringing in Torbjorn Heggem, Will Lankshear and Tom Fellows.
And it was Fellows who crafted the opening goal on 11 minutes, brilliantly beating his man before a pinpoint cut-back, which Grant confidently fired past Egil Selvik.

The visitors pressed for an equaliser and went close a few times via Edo Kayembe. The Watford man saw a run well halted by Heggem, then volleyed over, and also smacked the post from distance.
Albion created chances to extend their lead before the break, too. Lankshear prodded one wide at close-range, while Isaac Price forced Selvik into a decent stop as well, keeping the scoreline 1-0 come half-time.

The Baggies continued their attacking endeavour following the restart. Johnston was a constant thorn in the Watford side and, after being denied a number of times, eventually grabbed the goal he deserved.
Another excellent move involving Grant and Fellows saw the latter set-up Johnston, with the Irish international coolly converting the home team’s second.

However, Sissoko halved the deficit through a near-post effort on 76-minutes, ensuring there would be a grandstand finish.
In fact, Albion went closest to getting another, Grant having a near-post attempt saved.
And though Watford pushed forward late, the Baggies saw it out - claiming three huge points.
