Albion boss Carlos Corberán and forward Josh Maja have been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month and Player of the Month awards respectively.
The Baggies picked up ten points from their four matches in the opening month of the 2024/25 campaign, securing away victories at QPR and Stoke, as well as a home triumph over Swansea and a goalless draw with Leeds in B71.
Albion are one of five teams in the second tier yet to taste defeat and sit second in the standings heading into the next round of fixtures.
Maja bagged a hat-trick in the club’s 3-1 victory at Loftus Road on the first day, before going on to score the winner in the 2-1 success at the bet365 Stadium against Stoke City.
The Nigerian is joint-top scorer in the division, with Oxford United’s Mark Harris and Millwall’s Duncan Watmore also finding the net four times so far this term.
In the final match of the month, Josh also laid the ball on a plate for Jayson Molumby to slam home the decisive strike when Corberán’s side overcame Swansea City 1-0.
Maja faces competition for the Player of the Month award from both Harris and Watmore, as well as Sunderland defender Luke O’Nien.
Meanwhile, Corberán is up against Tom Cleverley of Watford, John Eustace of Blackburn Rovers and Regis Le Bris of Sunderland for the Manager of the Month gong.
All winners will be announced on Friday, September 13. The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel consists of former Barnsley boss Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ Don Goodman and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Goodman and Davies, as well as EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch.
