Torbjørn Heggem has been crowned West Bromwich Albion Men’s 2024/25 Supporters’ Player of the Season in his debut year at the club.

The towering defender signed in July 2024 from Swedish top-flight side Brommapojkarna and instantly impressed Baggies fans, making his first appearance in the 3-1 win at QPR on the opening day.

Heggem, who earned his maiden senior Norway cap in October 2024, has played in 41 of Albion's 42 Sky Bet Championship league games so far this term, scoring once against Sheffield United in December 2024.

The 26-year-old secured just under 60 per cent of the final vote, with Jayson Molumby coming second (13.5 per cent of the vote) and Callum Styles picking up the bronze (7.1 percent of the vote).

Thank you to every single supporter who participated.

Congratulations, Torbjørn!

Torbjørn Heggem has been voted West Bromwich Albion Men’s 2024/25 Players' Player of the Season.

The Norway international, who also won the Men's 2024/25 Supporters' Player of the Season, was chosen by his team-mates as the best performer this campaign.

Heggem, 26, signed from Swedish top-flight side Brommapojkarna in July 2024 and very quickly became a hit at The Hawthorns as a result of a number of calm, composed and dominant displays at both left-back and centre-back.

Torbjørn's involvement in Saturday's 2-1 Sky Bet Championship victory over Norwich City means he's missed just one of the club's 42 second-tier matches so far this term.

Congratulations, Heggy!

Tom Fellows has been named West Bromwich Albion Men’s 2024/25 Young Player of Season.

The 21-year-old, who also won the same award in 2023/24, has once again been a regular in the side this term having enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last year, featuring in 41 matches in all competitions.

Fellows is in the running to be the player with the most assists in the Sky Bet Championship this season and will head into the final four fixtures with 13 to his name - two of which came in Saturday's 2-1 victory at home to Watford.

Tom has found the net twice, scoring in the 2-2 draw with Sheffield United at The Hawthorns in December and the 1-1 draw at Swansea City in January.

The academy graduate has also enjoyed memorable moments on the international stage this campaign. He made his England U21s debut in September and scored his first goal at that level for the Young Lions against Austria at Kenilworth Road in the same month.

Congratulations, Tom!

First-year scholar Matthew Crowther has scooped the Academy Player of the Year Award following an impressive maiden term in the Black Country.

Crowther, 17, joined the Baggies officially at the start of the 2024/25 campaign - signing a two-year scholarship and looking set to begin a footballing education with his first professional club in Leigh Downing’s Under-18s squad.

Instead, Richard Beale included the youngster in his 21s team during their pre-season tour of Slovenia and from there, the central midfielder never looked back, earning a regular starting berth in the team due to his all-action displays.

This role saw Sunderland-born Matt help the PL2 side reach the quarter-finals of the Premier League Cup, in addition to reaching the same stage with his 18s age group in the FA Youth Cup.

Crowther has made 26 appearances across both age groups so far this season, providing nine goal contributions (six goals, three assists), and this award will only increase his desire to break into the senior fold at The Hawthorns in the future.

Congratulations, Matty!
