Albion will show its support for the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal when Blackburn Rovers visit The Hawthorns on Wednesday night (ko 8pm).
The squad will wear special shirts during the warm-up in an attempt to raise awareness and drive donations from supporters to help those in need.
Black armbands will also be worn by the players as a mark of respect for the 35,000 people who are known to have died following the series of devastating earthquakes.
Baggies supporters can find out more information about the DEC and how to donate to the fund here.
Survivors in Turkey and Syria have been left without shelter in freezing winter conditions and desperately need blankets, emergency shelter, food and clean water.
DEC charities and their local partners are among the first responders providing urgent help. Immediate priorities are search and rescue, medical treatment for the injured, shelter for those who have lost their homes, heating in safe spaces, blankets, warm clothes, and ensuring people have food and clean water.
