Albion supporters were given the opportunity to send in questions for Norwegian international Torbjørn Heggem recently!
A wide range of talking points were submitted including life at The Hawthorns, katsu curry, members of the senior squad, Harry Potter films, legendary Italian defenders, similarities between Josh Maja and Erling Haaland, video games, the weather in Norway, a Baggies royal rumble and much more.
Unfortunately, owing to the large volume of questions asked, the towering defender couldn't get through them all, but you can still find plenty of Torbjørn's responses below!
Did you think your Albion career would start so well? You've become very popular in a short space of time with us Baggies fans! (STEPHEN)
If I am honest, no, I didn't think so. I knew that coming to England from Scandinavia was a big step. I feel as though my start has been good and I think the support from the fans has been phenomenal. It's been a really nice start.
Who was your footballing idol growing up? (BRETT)
I watched a lot of English football when I was younger and I was supporting Cristiano Ronaldo. He was my idol, like he was to a lot of people. I enjoyed watching him play a lot and I followed his career.
How did you feel when you made your debut for the club? Were you nervous, or determined? (CONNOR)
I was a little bit nervous, of course. It was a big stage. I got to play from the start in the first match. I was really happy when we won 3-1 and I got an assist. It was a good start to the season and it was a really good feeling to have that good of a start at a new club.
Do you like katsu curry? (EVA)
To be honest, I don't think I have tried it. My team-mates have told me it's really good, so maybe sometime soon.
What is Erling Haaland like? (LUKE)
He is really kind and he's really funny. He doesn't talk to much, but I like him as a person and I'm really proud to say that he has been my captain. That's really cool.
Who is the hardest player you've had to defend against? (JAMIE)
The winger for Middlesbrough called Ben Doak. He was really quick and really good. I struggled against him, but I think it went ok. He was a quality player.
Which Albion player do you talk to the most? (KIAN)
I've been talking the most to Oussie (Ousmane Diakité). We live in the same building and we also drive into the training ground a lot together. We came here at the same time. He's a good friend.
Which country has the worst weather. The UK or Norway? (KYLE)
To be honest, the UK weather is just grey. We have more snow in Norway and it's colder there. I do prefer the weather in Norway to be honest.
What's your favourite place you've been to in Birmingham or the Black Country so far? (JACK)
Apart from The Hawthorns, I do like restaurants. My favourite restaurant is Tattu. I think it's a really good restaurant.
Have you tried orange chips? (Chloe)
I haven't yet. My family are coming over at Christmas, so maybe we will all try them together.
What is your favourite food? (EM)
I like sushi. I think it's really good and we ate a lot of it in Norway.
What do you like to get up to in your free time? Do you like to play any console games for example? (HARRY)
I have a group of friends in Norway and we all play in the evenings. At the moment we are playing GTA. That's a lot of fun in the evenings to play with them.
How much did it mean to you to make your debut for Norway? (HAYDEN)
It was really big for me. As a child it was one of my biggest dreams, to make my debut for Norway. I'm really happy I got that opportunity and a call up a second time too. It was huge. I'm looking forward to, hopefully, playing more games for Norway.
Can I name my first born Heggem? (THOMAS)
To be honest, that's really crazy but also really good. Of course you can name him Heggem, although it is my last name.
Who is the funniest player in the Albion dressing room? (RYAN)
I think Alex Mowatt is taking that one. He's a funny guy, maybe a clown. Mowwy likes a prank and I think Swifty is on the receiving end of most of them. Every time he sees me he says "ow am ya" from when we did the video before. He still sticks with that.
If you could recommend one place for people to visit in Norway, where would it be? (REBECCA)
I think my home town Trondheim is a really good place to visit. The nature is good and it's really beautiful in the winter. Trondheim is the place to go.
Have you tried a famous West Midlands curry yet? (HARRY)
I'm not a big fan of spicy food, so I stick to mild food and not spicy food. I haven't tried it yet and I'm not sure if I will to be honest.
I was at Hull and I was right next to your dad! What is it like having him, as well as the whole Albion fan base, supporting you? (BILLY)
Of course, it's really good. He's been supporting me my whole life. I'm glad that when he went to Hull away the crowd and the supporters were excited about him when he was there. I know he had a really good time and I know the fans had a really good time with him, so that's really nice.
Any matchday superstitions? (LEAH)
I try to eat the same food on the day before a game and on matchday, I try to get a lot of carbs in. I like Omelette with some white bread, and my last meal before a game I like to have chicken and rice, which is nice and simple. I also like to listen to some Eminem songs when I'm in the dressing room. The last song I listen to is 'Lose Yourself', that's my favourite song for getting into the right mood.
If there was a WWE Royal Rumble between the Albion squad, who would win? (JOSH)
I've seen Jayson Molumby fight before, so he's definitely a tough one! But Kyle Bartley and Daryl Dike maybe? I think it would be between them. But I'd probably give it to Kyle. I think I'd probably be in the top six, but definitely not in the top three.
What's your favourite cocktail? Was it the vacation to Rhodes in 2017 that made you the player you are today? (KASPER)
Gin and tonic is my favourite cocktail, I do like that one. The vacation I had to Rhodes then was really good, Kasper was actually one of the friends I travelled with, we had a really good time but I don't think it made me the player I am today! I know Kasper likes a good gin and tonic too. He was actually watching our last match and it was really nice to have him in the stands.
Are you Alessandro Nesta in disguise? (JAMES)
I know we aren't looking too similar, but as a player? Maybe. But I don't think so.
What is your favourite type of music to listen to? (TOM)
I don't listen to too much music during my spare time, I like podcasts a little better, to be honest. As I said before, I like to listen to some Eminem before games, but other than that I tend to listen to a lot of Norwegian podcasts.
What's your favourite Harry Potter film? (LUCY)
I like all of the earlier movies the best, the first four definitely. I think Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite.
Would you rather win the Premier League with West Bromwich Albion or the World Cup with Norway? (CHARLIE)
As a child I was watching the Premier League and it would be a big dream for me to win it with West Brom. Competing in the World Cup with Norway and winning would be a big dream too. But I think I'm going to sit on the fence on this one. Both would be really, really nice.
