Albion Women hit Worcester City for six in a dominant Adobe FA Cup Second Round display at the Valley Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Baggies’ first-half goalscoring rout gave them a strong position at the break, as strikes from Marli Rhodes-Andrews, Rhianne Oakley, Simran Jhamat, and Ella Haughey separated them from the visitors.

Oakley completed her hat-trick with two further efforts during the second period, allowing Albion to progress as comfortable victors.

Siobhan Hodgetts-Still's side are next in action on Sunday, December 8 where they’ll face either Cheadle Town Stingers or FC St Helen's Women in Round Three.

The boss made four changes to the side that beat Sutton Coldfield Town in the Birmingham County FA Challenge Cup. Haughey, Kate Evans, Rhodes-Andrews, and Oakley were all reinstated into the starting XI.

It took the Baggies a little over four minutes to assert their dominance on proceedings. Oakley made a break towards the box, unselfishly taking the goalkeeper out of the picture and leaving Rhodes-Andrews a simple tap-in.

Just a few moments later, Oakley turned from provider to scorer. Phoebe Warner weaved into the area and saw her attempt saved by Kirsty Bridgwater, however the rebound fell kindly to Albion's No.17.

Jhamat soon made her mark on proceedings, converting comfortably after Bridgwater failed to beat Rhodes to the ball.

And just before the break Haughey crashed in to head home a Rhodes-Andrews cross, grabbing her first Albion goal.

Oakley then added another to her tally midway through the second half, substitute Mariam Mahmood linking a sweeping attacking move together before leaving the Baggies forward to secure her brace.

She soon scored again, claiming the match ball while rounding-off a fantastic individual and team showing.
