Albion Women have firmed up their pre-season plans as they begin preparing for the 2023/24 campaign.
Siobhan Hodgetts has arranged five friendlies for her side, starting with a trip to Coles Lane where they will face Sutton Town on Tuesday, July 18.
The Baggies then host Leafield Athletic on Sunday, July 23 and Loughborough Lightning on Wednesday, August 2 – both behind closed doors at the club’s training ground.
An exciting trip to Newcastle United follows on Saturday, August 5. The friendly is set to be played in front of a big crowd at St. James’ Park as part of three games that day, kicking off at 6pm following the men’s matches between Nice & Villareal and Newcastle & Fiorentina. Full details, including ticket prices, can be found here.
Their final pre-season outing is against Rugby Borough on Sunday, August 13 – one week before the league games get underway.
Albion’s fixtures for the new FA Women’s National League North campaign are due to come out early next week, so supporters are urged to keep an eye out across the club’s website and social media channels.
