Albion Women have secured the signing of Ella Haughey from Nottingham Forest.
The versatile Northern Irish defender becomes the eighth player to join up with the Baggies’ this summer.
20-year-old Haughey has represented her national team at youth level and featured in the FAWNL Northern Premier Division last season for Forest.
Head Coach Siobhan Hodgetts-Still says she is pleased to complete the deal - and hopes they can help unlock her undoubted potential.
“We’re delighted to get Ella signed and over the line,” said the boss.
“Since coming in with us, she has shown an excellent attitude and commitment to be part of our squad.
“She’s an athletic, powerful left-footed player who loves to defend.
“We’re looking forward to working with her and continuing her development.”
