Albion goalkeeper Alex Palmer has been nominated for December’s Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award.
The stopper kept three clean sheets and conceded just two goals in five fixtures this month, both of which came from the penalty spot.
Palmer helped the Baggies to four wins and a huge surge up the second-tier table in December, as Carlos Corberan’s side rose from 22nd to ninth in a short amount of time.
The Albion man faces competition for the award from three strikers, including Middlesbrough’s Chuba Akpom, Sheffield United’s Iliman Ndiaye and Joel Piroe of Swansea City.
The winner is set to be announced on Friday, January 13. The Judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
