Anna Miller visits WBA Girls' Camps

West Bromwich Albion are delighted to announce Albion Women goalkeeper Anna Miller has been named the PFA Player in the Community for 2024.

Since joining our Women's first team, Anna has significantly enhanced our female pathway, not only through her on-field contributions but also as the appointed Emerging Talent Centre Goalkeeper Coach.

In this role, she offers training and development support to goalkeepers aged 8-16, while also coaching across various other parts of our pathway, including girls only ASC, the post-16 college programme and our holiday provision.

Anna has actively engaged in community outreach, delivering numerous player appearances to inspire the younger generation and expand the women's fan base. Additionally, she has played a pivotal role in developing inclusivity within the team, collaborating with Proud Baggies to educate players and staff on creating an inclusive environment.

Director of The Albion Foundation, Rob Lake, said: “Anna has committed so much time and effort not only to the progression of women’s football at the club but also to our local community.

“Girls football is thriving in our local area and Anna has been instrumental in delivery as well as inspiring the next generation to play – and follow – women’s football.

“Her work on inclusivity aligns so closely to the club’s core values and engaging with the club’s LGBTQ+ Supporters Group, Proud Baggies, demonstrates her impact across the whole of the West Bromwich Albion community. Anna's dedication and impact since joining the team has been truly admirable.”
