Young Baggies stopper Ben Cisse has been included in England’s Men’s Elite League squad for the first time.
The teenager, who signed his first professional contract at The Hawthorns earlier this month, will be part of Ben Futcher’s group for their two fixtures against Sweden and Republic of Ireland.
Cisse’s nation will play both games in Croatia – facing Sweden on Friday, June 7 (ko 4pm) at Stadion SRC Sesvete and Ireland on Tuesday, June 11 (ko 4pm) at Gradski stadion Vrbovec.
Albion’s promising youngster was a regular in Richard Beale’s PL2 side during the 2023/24 term and has also featured for England’s U16, U17, U18 and U19 teams.
