Brandon Thomas-Asante has received his first call-up to the Ghana national team.
The Baggies forward, who has finished as the club’s top goalscorer in each of his two seasons at The Hawthorns, will jet off to join the Black Stars squad ahead of their two upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers in June.
Thomas-Asante will hope to earn a debut when Ghana travel to Bamako to take on Mali on Thursday, June 6.
Their second qualifier is a home fixture against Central African Republic on Monday, June 10.
Ghana sit fourth on three points in their six-team group after the first two games.
Everyone at West Bromwich Albion would like to congratulate Brandon and the club wishes him all the very best of luck during his time away on international duty.
