Steve Bruce has confirmed all of Albion’s international players have returned to the club fit and healthy, but also revealed further fitness “frustration” for strikers Daryl Dike and Ken Zohore.
Callum Robinson, Dara O’Shea, Jayson Molumby, Semi Ajayi and Taylor Gardner-Hickman are all available for selection for Sunday’s clash at Birmingham City having represented their nations over the break.
The boss said: “The last few days we’ve had all of the lads who have been away with their nations come back to us.
“We’ve checked up on how they are and how much football they’ve played over the international break.
“Callum Robinson has played for Ireland and the young lad Taylor Gardner-Hickman has played for England and they beat Germany 3-1. He’s had a great time away.
“Semi Ajayi is ok and he’s back from Nigeria.
“The 11 or 12 who have been with us over the last couple of weeks have trained normally and they are all ready for the game on Sunday.
“Unfortunately Ken Zohore has picked up a re-injury, which is really frustrating. It happened in his first session back.
“Daryl Dike is another frustration too but thankfully it’s not a re-injury. He’s got a problem with the tendon behind his knee. We’re going to have to be a bit more patient with him.
“Matty Phillips is out on the grass and Kean Bryan is gearing towards being back for pre-season.”
