Albion drew 1-1 with automatic promotion-chasing Burnley at Turf Moor on Tuesday night.
John Swift’s brilliant free-kick had put the visitors ahead after 20 minutes of the contest, only for Zian Flemming to respond within a matter of minutes from close range to level things up.
Mikey Johnston and Jaidon Anthony both struck the crossbar during the second period - with CJ Egan-Riley and Clarets head coach Scott Parker receiving red cards following the full-time whistle - but those chances were as close as either team came to a winner, resulting in a share of the spoils.

Boss Tony Mowbray made five changes to the starting XI as Swift, Mason Holgate, Ousmane Diakité, Grady Diangana and Karlan Grant came into the team.
Despite their superior, undefeated home league record, it was the visitors made a strong start and stamped their mark on proceedings early doors.
Strong forward runs down the centre of the field helped the Baggies’ cause, and it was from the middle - just outside the 18-yard box to be specific - where the deadlock would be broken from in Lancashire.
Swift stretched well to win a free-kick, and the No.10 stepped up to convert the resulting effort in style - firing into the top corner superbly beyond James Trafford in the Clarets net to make it 1-0.

Deserved after their start to the match but, sadly, Albion’s joy would be short-lived as within minutes, Parker’s side were level - Flemming finding himself in the right place to poke in after visiting goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith had parried an effort into the Dutchman’s path.
He couldn't miss and as expected, Burnley grew in confidence and control - applying plenty of pressure on the Baggies goal, but without really forcing the Wildsmith into any further saves of note.
Adam Armstrong had a good chance to return the away team to the ascendency going in at the break, latching onto Diangana’s through ball into the area. But, off balance, he could only fire straight at Trafford, who kept things even for the start of the second 45.

Chances came soon after the restart; Isaac Price shooting just over the target from the edge of the box, while Anthony bent a curling effort beyond Wildsmith but onto the crossbar as both teams fought for the next goal.
It turned out to be a very stop-start half due to a number of injuries occurring throughout the second period.
But after coming to the Baggies’ rescue, the framework also saved the home team too when substitute Johnston fired a deflected attempt off the bar from a glorious position.
That was as close as either team came to a winner but there was still time for late drama - defender Egan-Riley receiving his marching orders for lashing out at Will Lankshear once the final whistle had gone, before Burnley boss Parker also saw red for protesting with referee Gavin Ward.
Regardless, the end result saw Mowbray’s men leave Turf Moor with a well-earned point heading into the final game before the March international break against Hull City at The Hawthorns on Saturday (ko 3pm).
