Albion and Cardiff played out an action-packed 0-0 draw in the Welsh capital on Saturday afternoon.
Both sides saw goals disallowed and plenty of chances missed, with 36 attempts between them as the Sky Bet Championship spoils were shared.
The Baggies - who can no longer mathematically finish inside the top six - host Luton Town next Saturday in their final 2024/25 fixture.

Interim Head Coach James Morrison made four changes to the team, bringing in Callum Styles, Alex Mowatt, Karlan Grant and Adam Armstrong.
Cardiff started strongly, Isaac Price brilliantly clearing a Calum Chambers header off the line during an early opportunity.
The Baggies soon grew into proceedings, though, and peppered the hosts’ goal with shots. Ousmane Diakite, Darnell Furlong and Grant all had efforts blocked, while Styles also struck wide.
They then went close midway through the period when Isaac Price hit the the post, and the ball agonisingly crawled across the line.
City did have the ball in the net before half-time, however their celebrations were cut short after the linesman spotted that goalscorer Chambers was offside.

On the hour mark Cardiff should have taken the lead, yet Josh Griffiths pulled off two fantastic saves - and Aaron Ramsey’s side also smashed the woodwork - in a crazy few seconds.
Albion created openings, too. Grant saw a powerful one held, and Armstrong raced through only for Horvath to eventually save his tame finish.
Substitute Daryl Dike thought he’d won the Baggies the match, nodding home a cross, but it was ruled out because the goalkeeper already had his hands on the ball.
Ultimately, despite all the action, neither team netted and the match finished 0-0 - a result which relegated Cardiff City.
