Carlos Corberán has confirmed John Swift will return to the matchday squad for Albion's trip to Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon (ko 3pm).
The playmaker, who is the club's joint-top goalscorer in the Sky Bet Championship this season, missed last weekend's 1-1 draw with Stoke City at The Hawthorns through injury.
The boss says Swift has trained without any issues over the last two days and insists it's a real positive to have him back involved.
Carlos said: “John Swift had a scan and the scan came back with some really positive news. It showed there was no injury in the hamstring and his calf is much better.
“He was doing some individual training and he’s now ready to be part of the squad.
“He will travel with the rest of the squad up to Middlesbrough. He’ll be with us.
“It’s a positive to add a player back to the squad. It means there is a freshness to it.
“I have to evaluate the minutes in terms of whether he will start or whether he will be on the bench and if he can play two games in-a-row or not in this busy period.
“These are all things which will need to be decided in the next days.”
