The Albion Foundation's partners Concept Flooring hosted their annual Golf Day on Friday, September 14, on behalf of, and whilst raising money for the Foundation.

Sandwell Park Golf Club was the setting for an exciting afternoon of action at the tee, as Concept staff and associates competed for the Alex Livesey Trophy.

All funds raised were donated to the Foundation, with proceeds fundraised through the main competition, pink ball competition and raffle.

Deputy Director Jonathan Ward was delighted to see Concept playing an active part in generating funds for the Foundation.

"I'm really pleased with the way the Concept Golf Day has panned out," Ward said. "It's a huge opportunity for us to raise valuable funds that we can put back into our amazing community work.

"In addition to that, it was a fantastic chance to strengthen the already formidable relationship with our partners Concept Flooring. They've supported us today and also recently with our Darts Night and we'd like to thank them for their unwavering support for us.

"I'd also like to pay tribute to Alex Livesey, who the competition trophy is named after. We're very grateful that we can welcome the Livesey family today to honour and commemorate such a wonderful person."

The golfers were also joined by a very special guest in fundraising-extraordinaire 'Blind' Dave Heeley, who shared his hopes and fears of the Western Front Way Challenge which is set to start on Friday, September 20.

"It was a great opportunity for our partners to hear about Dave and his fantastic work for the Foundation. We're excited for the Western Front Way Challenge and it should prove to be an exciting test.

"We're very grateful to all of the golfers for their generous donations, and also to Andrew from Concept who pledged to donate £1 for every kilometre cycled. We're hopeful that we can give back to these donations by completing the challenge in the time set."
