Darnell Furlong believes the “fine details” Carlos Corberán and his coaching staff are teaching the players are paying off and points to recent shutouts as evidence.
The Baggies earned their third consecutive victory and clean sheet on Saturday, beating Stoke City 2-0 at The Hawthorns.
Furlong produced a solid display at right-back and then at right wing-back when the boss made a change in the second 45.
And the defender insists the whole team feels organised, not just the defensive players, stating Albion have a clear “structure”.
Darnell said: “It’s been a long time coming earning three straight wins, especially with the players that we’ve got.
“We’re extremely organised now, which is nice, and the results are proving that at the moment.
“We always wanted to get the first goal of the afternoon because we have seen how other games have gone this season when we haven't. Once we got it, we kicked on and went from strength to strength.
“We created so many chances today and I really do think we could’ve scored plenty more goals.
“We’ve got a structure now which doesn’t just apply to defenders, it applies to the whole team. We’ve being coached the really fine details which already looks like it is paying off when you consider we’ve kept three clean sheets on the bounce.
“Every player is ready to work hard. Nobody wants to concede a goal and we’re trying our best.
“In terms of Brandon’s goal, I was thinking what on earth is he doing.
“To pull that off, over the top of the keeper and into the top corner is unbelievable. I’m delighted for him. It’s probably one of the best goals I’ve seen live.
“We’ll be working hard to hit the ground running when we come back. We’ll have some time off and then we’ll be straight into work.
“I’m sure the gaffer will see it as almost a mini pre-season, so we’ll all make sure we come back determined to keep improving.”
