West Bromwich Albion go to battle with Derby County at Pride Park on Boxing Day (ko 5.30pm).
The Baggies will be on the hunt for a second straight win following Sunday's 2-0 triumph at home to Bristol City courtesy of Mikey Johnston's first-half brace.
Derby, on the other hand, suffered late disappointment in their most recent fixture, conceding twice in the final minutes to lose 2-1 down at Luton last Friday night.
Thursday's clash will be the first between the two clubs in the league since December 27 2021 when the Rams claimed a 1-0 home victory.

The hosts
Derby County head into the Boxing Day battle with the Baggies having won just one of their last eight games and on the back of a frustrating 2-1 defeat at Luton Town - a contest they were leading 1-0 in as late as the 88th minute.
The Rams, last season's Sky Bet League One runners-up, will spend Christmas in 16th position in the table, sitting six points clear of the drop zone.
They dropped down to the third tier at the end of the 2021/22 campaign and spent two seasons below the Sky Bet Championship. Their target this term will be to retain their second-tier status and they have produced enough results to suggest they're more than capable of doing that.
They've been strong at home so far, winning five of their 10 matches in front of their own supporters, including a resounding 4-0 success against Portsmouth in their most recent match at Pride Park.
They've scored in all 11 home games they've played in during the current campaign in league and cup, and last failed to score at their own ground in January - notching in 22 consecutive encounters at Pride Park.
Former Rotherham United boss Paul Warne is the boss and has been since September 2022, making him the longest-serving manager in the Championship.
The 51-year-old represented the Millers, Wigan Athletic and Oldham Athletic among others as a central midfielder in his playing days. His record in charge of the Rams reads 59 wins, 30 draws and 34 defeats from 123 matches.
One from the history books
Dutch midfielder Richard Sneekes hit a sublime strike into the corner of the net from distance for the Baggies in a League Cup clash at Pride Park in September, 2000.
It proved to be the game's winning goal as the Albion secured a 2-1 triumph over the Rams.
Deon Burton, who now works for West Bromwich Albion's academy, opened the scoring for the hosts, but efforts from Neil Clement and Sneekes meant it was the visitors celebrating a victory.
