The hosts
Fleetwood Town made the perfect start to their 2024/25 campaign on the opening day.
Mark Helm's early goal was enough to collect all three points at home to Grimsby Town in what was their first fixture back in Sky Bet League Two having dropped out of the third tier last term - just their second relegation in their history.
The Cod Army spent a decade in Sky Bet League One and will have aspirations to get back there at the first attempt.
Charlie Adam, who represented Rangers, Scotland, Blackpool, Liverpool and Stoke City among others in his playing days, is the man in charge.
The 38-year-old is one of the youngest managers in the EFL and was appointed on New Year's Eve in 2023. He was unable to keep the club in League One, but will be determined to earn promotion this year. He has a record of seven wins, seven draws and ten defeats from his 24 matches.

Fleetwood have been knocked out in the opening round of the tournament in nine of the 12 seasons they've taken part in it.
