Albion's Sky Bet Championship showdown with Sunderland on Saturday, April 5 (ko 12.30pm) marks this season's dedicated Foundation Day.

The annual event shines a light on, and celebrates, the incredible work carried out by the club's charity arm in the local community.

This year’s theme will be ‘see us to believe us’, with the Foundation’s elite disability teams, Albion Blind and Albion Powerchair Football Club set to showcase their abilities on the day.

Tony Mowbray's men will have a commemorative patch printed at the centre of the players’ shirts for the encounter against the Black Cats.

Upon arrival at The Hawthorns, supporters are encouraged to donate what they can to the Foundation by putting any spare change in the buckets being held by Foundation staff around the perimeter of the stadium.

The half-time entertainment consists of former midfielder and WBA Radio & TV commentator Andy Johnson taking on England and Albion Blind footballer Eesa Amjid in a blind penalty shootout, as well a special presentation for the Blind and Powerchair sides as a result of their tremendous recent achievements.

Foundation Director Rob Lake said: "This year our theme is 'see us to believe us', shining a light on our incredible elite disability athletes who have been hugely successful.

"We want our supporters to be proud of their football club as we aim to be the best we can in disability football. We want more supporters to follow the teams' exploits as we challenge for national honours.

"We would also be hugely grateful if supporters could 'bring a pound to the ground' to help fund this. The football club are matching every penny raised by the fans on the day."

If you wish to donate prior to Saturday's fixture, please text TAF(AMOUNT) to 70470.
