Four Albion players were in action for their respective national sides on Tuesday.
Dara O’Shea and Jayson Molumby featured for the Republic of Ireland in their dramatic 3-2 victory over Armenia in their final UEFA Nations League fixture.
O’Shea completed the whole game while Molumby came off six minutes in the second half, being replaced by Conor Hourihane.
The hosts took the lead in Dublin through John Egan and then went 2-0 up courtesy of Michael Obafemi’s strike.
However, Armenia struck twice to pull back level thanks to goals from Artak Dashyan and Eduard Spertsyan.
The visitors had two players dismissed in the 89th minute and Ireland took full advantage by scoring a late winner from the spot, with Robbie Brady converting.
Elsewhere, Zac Ashworth played 82 minutes for Wales’ U21 side as they lost 2-0 against Austria in a friendly.
Fellow academy graduate Ethan Ingram played his third match of the international break, coming on for England’s U20s in the 75th minute as they recorded a 3-0 win over Australia.
