Meanwhile young defender Zac Ashworth has been called up to the Wales U21 squad for their friendly away to Austria on Tuesday, September 27 (ko 7.30pm).
And finally, goalkeeper Josh Griffiths – currently on loan at Sky Bet League One side Portsmouth – is away with England’s U21 group.
The Young Lions have two friendlies this month, the first of which sees them travel to Italy on Thursday, September 22 (ko 4:30pm) before welcoming Germany to Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane on Tuesday, September 27 (ko 7.45pm).
