Grady Diangana’s DR Congo qualified for the knockout stages of AFCON on Wednesday night after earning a point against Tanzania in their final Group F fixture.
The Baggies man was an unused substitute at Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium where a 0-0 draw secured second place in the standings and safe passage to the round of 16 for Les Léopards.
DR Congo will now meet African heavyweights Egypt on Sunday night (ko 8pm) for a place in the quarter-final, with Semi Ajayi’s Nigeria taking on Cameroon 24 hours earlier on Saturday night (ko 8pm).
