James Morrison believes Albion must focus on restoring "pride" in the final two games of the Sky Bet Championship campaign.
The former midfielder, who made 341 appearances for the Baggies during his 12 years at The Hawthorns as a player, will take charge of the team at Cardiff City this weekend and against Luton Town on the final day of the term.
Easter Monday's disappointing 3-1 loss at home to Derby County was the club's fifth defeat in the last six games, a period Morrison accepts has been incredibly frustrating for those associated with the Albion, especially the supporters.
He says he's trying to create an environment where the players head into encounters with the Bluebirds and the Hatters with "clear minds" in an attempt to re-establish some form of positivity.

Morrison said: “We all need to take responsibility. We’re in a position we really didn’t want to be in at this stage of the campaign.
“I think frustration is the main word you can use for this season. We’re all frustrated because we all know what we’re capable of.
“The fans have every right to be frustrated. It’s about trying to put a sense of pride back into the team for the last two games.
“I want the players to take responsibility and get out of this situation. That’s the way that I’m thinking going into the last games.
“It’s been a challenging period, but I want everyone to go into the last two games with clear minds and a focus on trying to do their jobs to best of their ability.
“We have an opportunity to show pride, to show that we all care about the club and to show that we want to take six points from the last two matches.”

Saturday's hosts Cardiff City are three points adrift of safety and could be relegated if they don't record a victory.
They'll have Wales international Aaron Ramsey leading them into battle in South Wales, a man Morrison has a great deal of respect for, but not someone he thought he'd be going head-to-head with in this particular scenario.
“We’re aware of Cardiff’s situation. It’s always tough going to Cardiff and their fans will be pushing their team forward and we’ve got to be ready for that.
“I want us to impose ourselves on them and push them back. I want us to show what a force we can be.
“I’ve got a huge amount of respect for Aaron Ramsey. I think we had quite a similar style of play. We had lots of battles. I didn’t think we’d be having a battle in the dugout this Saturday, but it’ll be nice to see him.
“I wish him all the best after Saturday.”
