Jayson Molumby was part of a Republic of Ireland team which suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to Greece in Athens in UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying on Friday night.
The Baggies man completed 81 minutes in the middle of midfield at the OPAP Arena before being replaced by attacker Michael Obafemi with the visitors chasing a late equaliser.
Molumby's Albion team-mate Dara O'Shea was an unused substitute.
Greece went ahead in the opening 45 when Anastasios Bakasetas converted a penalty, only for Ireland to hit back before the break through Nathan Collins.
However the hosts restored their lead and collected an important Group B victory thanks to Georgios Masouras' goal early in the second period.
The result leaves O'Shea and Molumby's side still searching for their first points of the qualifying campaign. They welcome Gibraltar to the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Monday night.
