West Bromwich Albion Women can confirm Jenny Sugarman will leave her role as Head Coach this summer to pursue a new opportunity elsewhere.
Sugarman was appointed back in August 2021 and led the Baggies to successive eighth-placed FAWNL North finishes during her two years in charge.
She also oversaw Albion Women’s historic first-ever match at The Hawthorns, when they beat Derby County 2-0, and achieved memorable runs to both the fourth and fifth rounds of the FA Cup.
“It’s been a privilege to work at this football club,” said Sugarman.
“We have built a fantastic team full of great people. I’ve enjoyed my time here and I’m proud of the progress we have made.
“In particular there were some very special moments, like the first ever women’s game at The Hawthorns, our FA Cup runs, and our homegrown talent breaking into the first team and receiving youth international call-ups.”
The club would like to place on record its thanks to Jenny for her efforts and wishes her the very best of luck in the future.
