Albion goalkeeper Josh Griffiths has won the University of Wolverhampton 2022/23 Young Player of the Season award.
The 21-year-old stopper has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at The Hawthorns, making his first-team debut for the Baggies in the club’s 1-1 Sky Bet Championship home draw with Blackburn Rovers in February.
Griffiths has made 10 senior appearances in total so far this season, keeping four clean sheets and helping Carlos Corberán’s men win 13 points.
The Albion academy graduate played 28 times out on loan for Sky Bet League One outfit Portsmouth in the first half of the term, and also made his England U21 debut against Croatia at Craven Cottage in March.
Congratulations, Josh!
