Josh had been away with the Young Lions for a training camp earlier this month and was on the bench for their warm-up game against Japan last weekend.
England - who travel to their base camp in Kobuleti, Georgia later this week – are set to face Czech Republic, Israel and Germany in Group C, with the top two teams progressing through to the quarter-finals.
The call-up caps off a memorable campaign for Griffiths, which included making his debut for Albion and England U21s, as well as being named the Baggies’ Young Player of the Season.
The Young Lions kick off the Championships when they face Czech Republic on Thursday, June 22 (ko 5pm BST), before further fixtures against Israel (Sunday, June 25, ko 5pm BST) and Germany (Wednesday, June 28, ko 5pm BST).
Congratulations and good luck, Josh!
