Albion youngsters Josh Griffiths and Reyes Cleary both made substitute appearances for two of England’s youth teams on Tuesday.
Goalkeeper Griffiths played the second half of the U21’s 2-1 friendly defeat to Croatia at Fulham’s Craven Cottage.
The Baggies stopper replaced Bolton’s James Trafford at the break, with the visitors already leading 1-0 thanks to a Martin Baturina goal.
Croatia then added a second eight minutes into the second 45 when Dion Beljo beat Griffiths from the spot.
Morgan Gibbs-White scored a penalty for England late on, however it proved to be nothing more than a consolation.
Elsewhere, striker Reyes Cleary came on in the 79th minute for the U19s as they claimed a 2-0 win in Turkey.
Cleary replaced Arsenal’s Amario Cozier-Duberry late on in a game which was won by goals from the Gunners forward and George Hall.
