Five Albion loan players featured for their temporary clubs at the weekend – including a debut for Rayhaan Tulloch, an assist for Karlan Grant and wins for Taylor Gardner-Hickman and Jamie Andrews.
In the Sky Bet Championship, Gardner-Hickman started and played 69 minutes as Bristol City came back to beat Swansea.
The Robins fell behind in South Wales to Liam Cullen’s early goal but completed a second half turnaround – Mark Sykes and Sam Bell netting in the 48th and 59th minutes respectively to earn them all three points.
City are eighth in the table having won two, drawn two and lost one – and face the Baggies at Ashton Gate in their first game back after the international break.
🔄 We make our first change as Tanner replaces Gardner-Hickman.

Elsewhere in the second tier, Grant set up Cardiff City’s opening goal in their 3-2 defeat away to Ipswich.
The Welsh side were two-up after Aaron Ramsey, assisted by Grant, and Joe Ralls fired them ahead inside the opening 52 minutes.
However, Ipswich responded by scoring three goals via Nathan Broadhead and Freddie Ladapo’s brace.

Meanwhile, Andrews came on for the final minutes - plus stoppage time - during Grimsby Town’s 2-0 League Two victory over Gillingham.
Though he had played in the Mariners’ Football League Trophy match earlier in the week, and featured for Albion in cup competitions before, the outing was Andrews’ first ever in the EFL.

In the same division there was also a debut for Tulloch, who played the last 19 minutes of Bradford’s 0-0 draw with Mansfield.
And Mo Faal made his sixth appearance in a Doncaster Rovers shirt on Saturday, starting and featuring for the opening 45 minutes of their goalless stalemate against Swindon Town.
