Five Albion youngsters featured for their respective loan clubs over the weekend across three separate competitions.
Taylor Gardner-Hickman played 75 minutes of Bristol City’s impressive 1-1 draw at Premier League West Ham United in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old was replaced deep into the second period by Matty James in a game which saw Robins forward Tommy Conway cancel out Jarrod Bowen’s early penalty for the Hammers to force a replay.
Elsewhere in the FA Cup, defender Zac Ashworth was an unused substitute for Bolton Wanderers who drew 0-0 at top-tier Luton Town on Sunday.

Two academy graduates earned more first-team minutes in Sky Bet League Two on Saturday.
Defender Ethan Ingram completed the opening half of Salford City’s 2-2 draw at home to Forest Green Rovers, before being replaced at the break by Junior Luamba.
Matt Smith put Ingram’s side in front, only for strikes from Charlie McCann and Matthew Stevens to turn the game in the visitors’ favour.
Salford managed to rescue a very late point though, with Ryan Watson sticking away an injury-time penalty. Forest Green’s Ryan Inniss and Salford’s Adrian Mariappa were both dismissed in the 90th minute of the encounter.
Forward Mo Faal played 72 minutes for Doncaster Rovers who were beaten 3-1 at Harrogate Town on Saturday.
The towering striker came off for Conor Carty with just under 20 left on the clock. Samuel Folarin scored the game’s first goal for the hosts, but Donny hit back almost immediately through Tommy Rowe.
However, efforts from James Daly and Abraham Odoh in the second 45 secured three points for Harrogate.
Two players were in action in the Southern League Central Division. Goalkeeper Brad Foster played the full 90 minutes for Alvechurch who drew 2-2 at Barwell, while midfielder Matt Richards also completed the whole game for Stourbridge as they fell to a 1-0 defeat to Halesowen in the No.9 derby.
