Four Baggies were in action away from The Hawthorns over the weekend.
In the Sky Bet Championship, Karlan Grant started and played the entirety of Cardiff City's 3-1 defeat at the Den.
Millwall opened the scoring in the ninth minute through Michael Obafemi, before the Bluebirds equalised 15 minutes later, with Yakou Meite getting his name on the scoresheet.
However, goals in first-half and second-half stoppage time ensured the Lions the points, with Jake Cooper and Duncan Watmore both finding the back of the net.
There was a goal off the bench for Mo Faal in Walsall's Sky Bet League Two defeat to Notts County.
Faal was introduced at half-time for Jamille Matt, and made a goalscoring impact in the 68th after getting onto the end of Liam Gordon's ball to slot home.
But the Magpies would claim the victory in the West Midlands, with goals from Macaulay Langstaff, Aaron Nemane and Sam Austin earning them the points.

Elsewhere, Jamie Andrews came off the bench to help Grimsby Town to a 3-0 win at Crewe Alexandra.
The young midfielder came on in the 88th minute, after strikes from Toby Mullarkey and Curtis Thompson had put the Mariners into a commanding position, before Denver Hume's stoppage time finish sealed proceedings at Gresty Road.
Meanwhile, Ronnie Hollingshead's Alvechurch side fell to a 2-1 defeat at Coalville Town.
The shot-stopper played the entirety of the game in which Finley Thorndike had given the visitors the lead, but a brace from Ashley Chambers earned Coalville all the points.
