Two Albion youngsters found the net for their respective Sky Bet League teams over the weekend.
Defender Ethan Ingram scored his first professional goal for Salford City on Saturday, notching his side’s opener in the 2-2 draw at home to Swindon Town.
The right-back, who completed the full game, charged into the box and slotted a right-footed attempt beyond the reach of Swindon stopper Murphy Mahoney after just seven minutes at the Peninsula Stadium.
It kicked off what turned out to be a fine afternoon for the Baggies man, with Ingram also scooping the Player of the Match award along with his strike.
Salford managed to rescue a last-gasp draw when Liam Humbles scored, that coming after efforts from Remeao Hutton and former Albion striker Charlie Austin had put the visitors 2-1 up following Ethan’s early finish.

Elsewhere, forward Mo Faal scored for the second weekend running, helping Doncaster Rovers to an important 2-1 victory at Tranmere Rovers on Friday night.
The 20-year-old produced a delicate chip over the top of Tranmere goalkeeper Joe Murphy to extend Rovers’ lead to 2-0 in the 57th minute. Harrison Biggins had given the away side the advantage in the middle of the first 45.
Connor Jennings pulled one back for the hosts, but it proved to be little more than a consolation strike.
Mo completed the whole 90 minutes at Prenton Park as Doncaster moved up to 17th in the standings.
Winger Rayhaan Tulloch came on in the 84th minute for Bradford City who drew 1-1 at home to Wrexham in the fourth tier.
Tulloch replaced Emmanuel Osadebe at Valley Parade where Adam Wilson’s late leveller for the Bantams cancelled out Paul Mullin’s effort.
Midfielder Jamie Andrews was an unused substitute for Grimsby Town as they suffered a 3-2 loss at League Two leaders Stockport County.
In the Sky Bet Championship, Taylor Gardner-Hickman bagged the all-important assist for Bristol City as they secured a narrow 1-0 home win against Coventry City.
Gardner-Hickman’s pin-point free-kick landed perfectly on the head of Rob Dickie just moments before the break in the West Country.
The Baggies man played the whole game at Ashton Gate, helping the Robins move up to eighth in the division.
Striker Karlan Grant also featured in the second tier on Saturday afternoon, playing 90 minutes for Cardiff City in their 1-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
Joe Rankin-Costello scored the encounter’s only goal in the 53rd minute.
Finally, forward Jovan Malcolm was an unused substitute for Cheltenham Town who beat Cambridge United 1-0 at home in Sky Bet League One.
