Baggies forward Mo Faal scored his first goal in the EFL on Saturday afternoon, notching for loan side Doncaster Rovers in their narrow 2-1 defeat at Wrexham in Sky Bet League Two.
The towering youngster nodded in from close range to bring the scores back to 1-1 early in the second half after the hosts had gone in front courtesy of Luke Young’s scrappy strike.
Unfortunately, Faal’s men couldn’t hold on to what would’ve been a valuable point on their travels, with Elliot Lee firing in the winner inside the final three minutes of the match.

Elsewhere in the fourth tier, defender Ethan Ingram made his league debut for Salford City, completing the whole game as they suffered a 2-1 setback at home to Walsall.
Ingram’s men took the lead through Matt Smith as early as the 15th minute, but two second-half strikes from Freddie Draper and Oisin McEntee meant the Saddlers returned to the West Midlands victorious.
Finally, winger Rayhaan Tulloch made his first appearance for Bradford City at Valley Parade.
The 22-year-old was introduced to the action at the start of the second period in the Bantams’ clash with Grimsby Town, an encounter which ended 1-1.
Danny Rose put the visitors in front late in the first 45, but Bradford managed to equalise with just one minute remaining.
Albion midfielder Jamie Andrews was an unused substitute for Grimsby.
