Quevin Castro scored a quite simply stunning free-kick for Notts County at York City on Saturday afternoon in the Vanarama National League.
Castro fired in a cracker from the best part of 30 yards at the LNER Community Stadium, beating former Baggies youngster Ethan Ross in the home side’s net.
It was the first of four goals in the game, with Castro’s County claiming a 3-1 triumph on their travels – a result which means they sit third in the table, three points from the summit.
Macaulay Langstaff bagged Notts County’s other two goals, with Fraser Kerr on target for York.
The Baggies midfielder completed 66 minutes of the match before being replaced by Sam Austin.
Elsewhere, Tom Fellows featured for Crawley Town in Sky Bet League Two as they suffered a disappointing 4-1 loss at Doncaster Rovers.
Fellows played the full 90 minutes at the Eco-Power Stadium, where strikes from Joseph Olowu, George Miller (2) and Kyle Hurst were enough to earn Rovers the victory. James Tilly scored for the visitors.
