Six Albion players were in action for their respective loan sides over the weekend.
Both Cedric Kipre and Alex Mowatt featured in the Sky Bet Championship, with Kipre completing 90 minutes for Cardiff City as they lost 1-0 at Huddersfield Town. Terriers striker Jordan Rhodes scored the only goal of the game after eight minutes.
Mowatt, meanwhile, was brought on for Middlesbrough with just over 15 minutes to go at the Riverside Stadium as his side were held to a goalless draw by Rotherham United.
In Sky Bet League One, Josh Griffiths played the full match for Portsmouth once again as they drew 2-2 at home to rivals Plymouth Argyle.
Josh Koroma gave Pompey a first-half lead, but an own goal after the break from Sean Raggett and then a strike from Niall Ennis had Griffiths’ men staring defeat in the face.
However, there was a late twist and Portsmouth snatched an injury-time equaliser through Reeco Hackett-Fairchild – a goal which kept the hosts second in the table, one place above Plymouth.
Elsewhere in the third tier, there was disappointment for defender Caleb Taylor as Cheltenham Town suffered a 1-0 reverse at Accrington Stanley. Taylor got another 90 minutes of senior football under his belt in a game which was settled by a Sean McConville goal after less than 60 seconds.
In Sky Bet League Two, winger Tom Fellows completed the whole match for Crawley Town who lost 1-0 at Crewe Alexandra. Crewe forward Courtney Baker-Richardson scored the only goal 17 minutes from time.
And finally, in the Vanarama National League, midfielder Quevin Castro made his second substitute appearance for Notts County.
The 21-year-old was brought on in the 66th minute as County slipped to a 3-1 defeat at Dorking, with the hosts scoring twice in second-half added time to earn three points.
